The River started in  Akron Ohio in the summer of 2010 to be a regional training center for the body of Christ in our region. We focused on equipping saints for their ministries connected to their existing churches. We often called the River a Kingdom Center. Over the years it developed more into a local church format as a combination of a  kingdom center and a local church. And recently moved to Willoughby, Ohio. After turning the leadership over to other leaders in Willoughby, Jack Irvin has decided to relaunch the River Equipping Center in Akron to be a local church and  a resource center for the body of Christ with both online resources and the availability of seasoned leaders providing training and equipping in local ministries  and churches as needed.

 We desire to use Apostolic teams to come in an assist your local church with whatever you need.
